Teaching abroad with Manos Internacional, a non-profit, grass-roots organization whose mission is “Uniting the world through the sharing of Cultures, Ideas, and Education” gave me the opportunity to experience another culture first hand; its views, history, and cultural context. It also gave me a great platform for personal growth strengthening my ability to constructively adapt to new circumstances. This time inspired me to obtain a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Interior Design and Masters of Architecture. The Bachelors of Fine Arts in Interior Design allows me look at the user’s experience at a micro, tactual level. The Masters of Architecture provides the tools to design space at a macro level and it helps to strengthen the user’s relationship with his surroundings, neighborhood, city. Combined it allows me  To shape the built environment through contemporary architecture reflective of the multiculturalism of today.
